Ann Jacqueline Bledsoe

Ann Jacqueline Fitzgerald Bledsoe, age 92, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, May 13, 2012 at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Allen, TX. Mrs. Bledsoe was born March 7, 1920 in West Minister, Texas the daughter of John Chambless and William Henry (Johnson) Coffey. Her family moved to Denison when she was two years old. She went to Peabody school and graduated from Denison High School in 1937. Jacqueline married Ty Fitzgerald in 1938, they had five children together. Ty was a pitcher for Millers Baseball team and they co-owned Coffey Grocery for 30 years, she loved the grocery business. he preceded her in death in 1975. Later she married Elmer Levoy Bledsoe in 1979. Christmas was her favorite holiday, she always had an open house at Christmas time. She attended Grayson County College and Austin College. Jacqueline was a life member of Ladies Aux #2773, member of Sunnyside Baptist Church for 65 years, Friendship Club and also member of Golden Girls. She loved the Lord and her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Mrs. Bledsoe is survived by her beloved family, children, Barbara Earley of Denison, TX, John Fitzgerald of Dallas, TX, Sue Brown and husband, Jimmy of Plano, TX, Rebecca Lopez of Frisco, TX and step-son, Darrell Bledsoe and wife, Barbara of East Texas, eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and five great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Ty Fitzgerald and Elmer Bledsoe and grandson, JImmie Lee Earley, Jr. Funeral services will be held Wednesday May 16, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in Fisher Funeral Chapel with Pastor Jody Shires officiating. Interment will follow in Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman. Family visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday May 15, 2012 at Fisher Funeral Home.
