isher Funeral Home was established from the renovation of an existing building located in the heart of Downtown Denison. The vacant building was completely restored both inside and outside to provide a brand new facility for families to fill at home in. Inside, the funeral home offers a warm tone of colors and comfortable seating. Rooms include a foyer seating area, arrangement office, three staterooms, restroom/break area, casket showroom, and a chapel to seat 120 people. The outside of the building was also completely restored and a portico che was added to allow for families to pull under during inclement weather.
There are many advantages to opening a brand new funeral home in today's time verses the existance of decades old facilites. During construction we were able to include many new technology features most funeral homes in Texoma do not have. We have a full service music system including mixer board, digital piano, four microphones, and surround sound speakers throughout the funeral home. This allows for chapel services to operate very smoothly and assures everyone attending the funeral can hear efficiently. Also, we have installed speakers in the foyer and state rooms so as to allow families to play their choice of background music during family visitation. These speakers also serve great during a large funeral in which overflow seating is moved beyond the chapel.
Our property offers a large parking lot and ample walkways to access the funeral home. Overflow parking is conviently located along the street and nearby parking lots also provide additional parking. Fisher Funeral Home has constructed the entire facility to be completely wheel chair friendly.
